The Fundamental Asbestos Safety Training (F.A.S.T.) virtual reality simulation has been designed to assist minimise the risk of employees working in a petrochemical environment being exposed to asbestos.\n\nF.A.S.T. provides a structured teaching, learning and assessment framework to educate employees about the physical and chemical properties of asbestos, its hazardous effects on human health and how to identify objects suspected of containing asbestos.\n\nAt each stage the user is assisted by Hazmat, a virtual presence, teacher and guide.
